Checking in to talk about contests!
We have an affiliate with a contest to promote, so I'll get a promotin'~

The deadline is not until May 27th C: There's hundreds of points up for grabs, even a copy of the new album, too!
Also, we as PendulumLovers have only ever had one contest - to design our Group icon. That was... right after Immersion came out, OTL
Would anyone be interested in a contest? It would be an all-categories-of-art-accepted contest, naturally. If there's enough interest, I'd love to host one, with nice prizes and all that. I just don't want to unless, you know, the Group wants to C:

Also, on a serious note, I think this will help me as I slump into is-Pendulum-coming-back-ever? sadness. It's looking bleak, or is it just me? I feel too young to lose a band already, haha. Now I can be one of those back-in-my-day types, fff.

So, I've been pretty quiet around here lately, but I'm always happy to see deviations in my inbox from this group. Even when the band themselves go on hiatus, the impulse of art from their work still flows strong.
I'll be taking the Pendulum supplement pill of Knife Party in March when they come to Nashville, Tennessee, and I couldn't be more excited! Pendulum never came close to TN, so not sure why the sudden change. The venue they chose is itty-bitty, too.
While Pendulum has said not to expect another full album until 2013 (or later), I'll rest tight with the Knife Party.

So it's been a while since the last update. All has been pretty quiet Pendulum-wise since their album came out a few months ago.
Gotta toot the 'make sure it's in the right folder' horn like every other group, though C:
I myself was so far behind on keeping up with them I am just now figuring out what Knife Party is/sounds like. Hahaha.
I want to thank every one that's been posting to the gallery; keep up the good stuff!
Pendulum's current tour route comes no where close to me, I'm so jealous. They're hitting up a lot of European countries before trekking down to New Zealand and their home country. Anyone gonna catch any of their upco

I am just copy/pasting from the email newsletter I receive from Pendulum, so this is probably redundant to the majority of you, but I think it's rather sweet/interesting to see Rob's humanitarian side. He has previously said that he would not give music away for free (i.e., no royalties) like other bands in the UK, but I see he's dropping that for a good cause.

I need to force myself to art more.
I was upset about the whole "breakup" situation for a day or so, but I guess I'm really not all that concerned now. It really just seems like Pendulum stress was getting to Rob, and he wants to take a break and focus on something else for a while.
